Supply Chain Management - Performance Information

The LLNL Supply Chain Management is responsible for the acquisition, receipt, and distribution of all supplies and services required by the Laboratory. It manages its performance in accordance with the Laboratory M&O Prime Contract between Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (LLNS) and the U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), as well as a Procurement Objectives Matrix Program developed annually with NNSA, which represents an innovative performance-based contract management approach through which its management of the purchasing function is measured against objective standards of performance.

The LLNL Supply Chain Management Department has earned a solid reputation as an innovative leader in the DOE/NNSA community and consistently produces performance results that are at or near "best-in-class." Throughout the years, it has achieved an overall rating of Outstanding for its procurement function by striving for continuous improvement and utilizing many streamlined, cost-effective, and innovative procurement approaches, including the following comprehensive programs and systems:
