Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory

Under the Department of Energy Mentor/Protégé Program, LLNS is looking to establish Mentor-Protégé agreements with qualifying small businesses.

The Mentor-Protégé Program Model is designed to provide critical developmental assistance to protégé companies in the fundamental principles of building solid, established, successful businesses. Successful implementation of the Mentor-Protégé Program should enhance the companies' overall capabilities to a level that enables them to deliver superlative performance and to compete in any market.

A successful relationship will contribute to the sustainable stability that small businesses need to win work in competitive federal and commercial markets. Protégé companies committed to working diligently with LLNS can expect major benefits to their overall infrastructure, management approach, and technical capabilities. While subcontracting is a major benefit to the protégé, LLNS is under no obligation to award the protégé subcontracts. Protégé that develop relationships with key project personnel and have capabilities that meet the needs of the facility will increase their chances of being awarded subcontracts.

Protégé Qualifications

Applicants interested in participating in the LLNS Mentor-Protégé Program must meet the following program qualifications:
